Como o video de hoje tem uma curiosidade, que muitos já devem saber, trarei um pequno resumo do inicio da banda para completar o post. Culpa do feriadão, mas agora vamos ao som do Viper.

O Viper começou em 1985, com a demo The Killera Sword, formado por André Matos (Vocais), Pit Passarell (Baixo), Yves Passarel (Guitarra), Felipe Machado (Guitarra) e Cássio Audi (Bateria). Logo veio um dos melhores álbuns de heavy metal tupiniquim o Soldiers of Sunrise, dando ao grupo o título de o Iron Maiden brasileiro.

Também lançaram o Theatre of Fate, onde houve uma mudança no som da banda, com a entrada do tecladista Junior Andrade em 1987, que antes era um heavy tradicional ficou mais melodico e André Matos mostra que, sem duvida, é um dos melhores vocalistas do Brasil.

Nesse período houve vários bateristas, antes de Cássio Audi o posto era ocupado por Anderson Ribeiro, o que é normal. Mas por divergências musicais com o resto da banda (que queria retornar ao heavy metal tradicional) e muito ocupado com a sua faculdade de música André Matos sai do Viper e Pit Passarel assume o vocal.

O Theatre of Fate marca André Matos em dois quesitos, temos sua primeira composição (Moonlight) e também, sua primeira aparição em videoclip, justamente com A Cry from the Edge.
