Esse mês um dos plays mais famosos do female fronted faz aniversário: há nove anos o Nightwish lançava Once, quinto disco de estúdio. Por isso faremos uma semana especial no blog, a começar pelo Monday Metal.


A música pinçada não poderia ser outra: Nemo. Primeiro single a ser lançado, Nemo teve o video oficial dirigido por Antti Jokinen, finlandês que trabalhou com nomes como Shania Twain, Eminem e Céline Dion. No Brasil o video esteve no topo da lista de videos da MTV.


Sobre a letra, ela canta o sentimento de estar perdido no mundo, o quem sou e para onde vou. Apesar da constante confusão feita entre o hit do Nightwish e o filme da Disney, não se enganem: uma coisa não tem nada a ver com a outra. Tuomas disse em entrevista que decidiu usar a palavra Nemo para batizar a música, pois e latim ela quer dizer "ninguém".
