Segunda agora é o dia de música no blog e estaremos não apenas trazendo a música mas sim trazendo também informações sobre a música e o clip. Para começarmos vamos com o som que tornou possível o X Japan voltar a ativa após 10 anos.

"I.V." (aye-vee), que pode ser visto tanto como número romano quanto a classificação de medicamento letal ("intravenous drip"), no caso o segundo é o correto por motivos óbvios, foi escolhida para ser o tema do filme Saw I.V. (a.k.a. Jogos Mortais I.V.) porém, não foi lançada na OST (Original Sound Track) do filme, porém é tocada nos créditos, mas sim como um lançamento (single) do X.

A música foi composta usando material nunca usado que hide havia gravado (pouca coisa), e o resto foi feito pelo gênio da banda, Yoshiki, instrumental e letra. O promo video foi gravgado em Tókyo no dia 22 de Outubro de 2007 no Odaiba Aqua City, contou com equipes de tv conferindo as gravações e com muitos fãs no terreo acompanhando a banda.

Finalizando, a música ficou apenas em inglês mesmo (para alegria dos que reclamam do idioma ou não gostam de buscar tradução) e foi muito bem aceita por onde passou. Confira "I.V."
