Boa parte do Brasil combina feito luva com o Monday Metal da semana, onde nem o Rio de Janeiro escapou do Articuno mandando um raio congelante brabo. E talvez vocês fiquem meio surpresos? Afinal eu nunca havia falado do Borknagar no site até hoje, e ontem declarei de pé junto que ando me sentindo cada vez menos "true." Mas tudo tem um bom motivo, claro.

Primeiro: não gosto de black metal, e no geral eu tenho uma relação bem ruim com o metal extremo, e é por isso que eu não divulgo muito esse tipo de material aqui. Acho justo, pois o HMBR é a tradução de como eu e o Waka enxergamos o entretenimento e o metal, mas as vezes é preciso quebrar a regra por motivos de merchan (porque a vida não é fácil..), ou quando não é porque se afastaram desse som e melhoraram!

Em 2016 o Borknagar lançou o álbum Winter Thrice, que se possível eu ainda trago review para o site. Ainda com alguns elementos black metal presentes (no vocal principalmente), a banda mescla isso ao folk, viking e prog metal de "The Rhymes of the Mountain" com sucesso, criando uma música bem épica que dá vontade de subir uma montanha gelada girando uma espada. O frio já tem, só falta a montanha e a espada.
