Qual é a fórmula para um bom cover? Impossível dizer com 100% de certeza, mas eu sempre insisto com essa resposta: quando a banda tem bom senso na hora de respeitar os elementos da versão original, e saber quais elementos dela mesma usar, o que nunca é fácil. Mas tem vezes que gente acerta tão na mosca que o resultado é esse: parar no Monday Metal, o post imortal que nunca morre no final.

Dias desses ouvi bem por acidente o cover que o Disturbed fez de "Shout", mega hit do Tears For Fears. É fantástico! Os caras acertaram perfeitamente no equilíbrio entre o som do Disturbed, que te faz ouvir e reconhecer a banda, e nas estruturas mantidas que te fazem ouvir o cover e lembrar que é de uma música do Tears For Fears. Ficou pesado, bem ao jeito dos caras, e ainda assim cantável pra caramba. É o segundo cover deles que eu ouço e eles mandam bem demais. Então nada melhor do que começar a semana num pique mais animado, certo?
