Finalmente! Domingo eu recebi uma das notícias que eu mais esperava (relacionada à faculdade), e qual pequena e nerd forma eu vou usar para comemorar? Um Monday Metal inspirado por razões filosóficas! Claro.

Uma das "heranças" que o HMBR me proporcionou foi conhecer ou tomar vergonha e passar a ouvir certas bandas, o Trivium entre elas. Foi "quem" abriu o caminho para eu ouvir vertentes como metalcore e death melódico, essa a minha atual vertente favorita que preencheu o vazio deixado pelo metal sinfônico.

In Waves foi um álbum mega marcante nesse aspecto. Além disso: marcou as zilhões de noites mal dormidas durante a faculdade, junto com o The Unforgiving do Within. Ah, 2011. O In Waves foi tão especial que parou na minha monografia: usei um dos trechos de Forsake Not The Dream na citação de abertura.
