Nessa segunda-feira a banda de metal sinfônico Delain lançou o aguardado video de We Are The Others, música que foi dedicada à Sophie Lancaster, assassinada em 2007. Sendo assim resolvi transformar o Monday Metal de hoje em algo nobre e épico.

Esqueça a sonoridade moderna, o que chama a atenção no novo trabalho do Delain é o tema abordado: o bullying, um clichê chato, porém sério, ainda mais quando vemos que ele vitimou uma jovem de 20 anos de idade. Ainda em Fevereiro desse ano fiz um post falando do assunto e ainda espero poder escrever mais a respeito (pois há muito pra ser dito), por isso torçam para que eu consiga o tempo necessário.

We Are The Others não é apenas uma bela música em termos de melodia e letra, no qual muitos incompreendidos irão abraçar como um verdadeiro hino (o que é ótimo, pois é essa a intenção), a música acabou se transformando numa grande campanha graças a uma ideia simples, porém efetiva que a banda utlizou: convidar vários others para participar do video, incluindo figuras conhecidas da cena.

Feito isso, veio o convite da vocalista Charlotte Wessels via Youtube: ela pediu aos fãs para ajudarem na divulgação do clipe tirando uma foto com uma "plaquinha" escrito We are the others e postar na página oficial do Delain. O resultado? No momento em que escrevo o álbum conta com 353 imagens, e acredito que continue a ser atualizado. Nele vocês vão poder encontrar a Lisa Middelhauve (ex-vocalista do Xandria) e até a pessoa que vos fala neste post. Segue aqui o link da minha contribuição awesômica.
