Não só as bandas que já passaram pela lista fazem baladas como hits e músicas emplacadas, Yoshiki também sabe colocar o povo pra chorar, não tanto quanto ele chora, claro.


Quando o Blue Blood foi lançado, se tornou um grande sucesso. Canções como Weekend e Endless Rain invadiram a mídia japonesa e deram a banda a popularidade que eles precisavam. X estava em todo lugar. Tocar nas rádios sem parar, vender muito de seus discos e realizar uma grande leva de entrevistas na TV foram tudo que bastou para fazer de X uma das bandas de maior sucesso da história do Japão. Suas turnês nacionais esgotaram-se quase instantâneamente e eles se tornaram a primeira banda da história a tocar no Tokyo Dome por três noites seguidas.
